The way you sail your Drakkar to grab runes while also managing territory adds a really fun push-and-pull. My group had a blast from the first draft to the final fight, and the monster battles feel properly epic for a game that's mostly pencil-and-paper. Easily worth the table time.

The draft-and-write mechanic keeps every round tense, and I love that your Drakkar choices can swing the whole battle. Setup was quick, and the territory conquering feels genuinely strategic without dragging on. Already planning our next game night around it.

The rune collecting adds a nice layer of strategy on top of the drafting, so every round feels like you're building toward something. Sailing the drakkar to grab territory is probably my favorite part, it always gets a reaction from the table.
