Wasn't sure two extra hex tiles would change much, but the Shell Sector cards force totally different decisions in the mid game. Our group's been playing the base set for months and this made it feel new again.
The shipwreck cards add a nice layer of unpredictability to our sessions, especially with the new sector tiles mixing up the map layout. Setup was quick and the components match the base game's quality perfectly.
The hexagonal sector tiles fit perfectly with the base game’s map, and the ten new shipwreck cards add just the right amount of chaos to a match. Setup took me an extra minute, but that’s a fair trade for the fresh tactical options.
