Eight players at once and nobody had to sit out the whole game, which honestly makes this worth it on its own. The ten new alien factions each play differently enough that we're still figuring out fresh strategies three sessions in.
Got this to the table with six players last weekend and the new alien factions give every game a completely different feel. The extra components for eight players are sturdy and the box insert holds everything without a mess. Already planning our next session.
Ten new alien factions adds so much variety that every game feels completely different, and having the option to jump to eight players means our group never has to split into two tables anymore. The extra components are solid and slot right into the box with the base game.
