Took this to the beach last weekend and the mesh let all the sand sift right out instead of collecting in the bottom. The extra large capacity swallowed four towels plus sunscreen and snacks with room to spare.
The cord handles are surprisingly comfortable even when the bag's loaded with towels and snacks. Took it to the lake and everything stayed dry since the mesh drains instead of holding water. Big enough for two beach days worth of stuff.
The mesh is light and airy, so sand shakes right out, but the cord handles dig into my shoulder once the bag's loaded. It holds towels and snacks fine, just not as sturdy as I hoped for the price.
