Viking Meeples:
Verbeterde Viking-vormige meeples ter vervanging van de meeples uit het basisspel, evenals Vikingshelm-scoremarkeringen, voor elke kleur, inclusief een zwarte kleur voor kleurenblinde spelers.
Swapping out the plain wooden pawns for these little Viking shapes makes the board look so much better on the table. The black set is a nice touch too, since one guy in our group is colorblind and could never tell the old pieces apart.
These helmets stay put on the score track way better than the cardboard tokens I was using. The extra black set is a thoughtful touch, and the viking shape feels chunky and nice in hand every time I draft one.
The black set is a genius addition—finally clear separation for everyone at the table without squinting. The helmets have a nice heft and sit firmly on the score track, and the meeple shapes feel much more thematic than the plain ones.
