『ジェム・ヘンズ』では、各プレイヤーが宝石の卵を産むことができる鶏を1羽ずつ操作します。狡猾な農夫が宝石と穀物を混ぜ合わせた食欲をそそる飼料で特別に飼育された鶏たちは、最も美味しく（そして最も価値のある）穀物の宝石を求めて家畜の庭へと駆け出します。
プレイヤーは、自慢の鶏が最も見事な卵、つまり皇帝にふさわしい驚異の卵を産めるかを競い合います！
The jeweled egg pieces are chunky and satisfying to hold, way nicer than the cardboard tokens most games give you. Our group of four finished a game in about 40 minutes and immediately wanted a rematch.
